《论语》与跨文化交际

学界认为 ,跨文化交际学兴起于二十世纪六十年代的美国。然而 ,若从跨文化交际的两个基本内容 :文化本质的研究及人们交际行为的研究来看 ,则两千多年前的中国儒家代表作《论语》已具备之。《论语》不仅就现代跨文化交际学提出的文化差异性、交际差异性、交际和谐性进行了探讨。同时 ,孔子的教学方式、教学内容、宗旨也与现代跨文化交际学相似。在这一意义上 ,《论语》可称得上是“跨文化交际学”的雏形 ,孔子则是跨文化交际学的先驱倡导者

The Analects and Cross-cultural Communication

The representative work of Confucianism,The Analects, which came into existence two thousand years ago, contains contents similar to those in today's"cultural communication". Confucius not only studies and teaches his students the differences and similarities between cultures, but also focuses on individual cross-cultural communication abilities. Therefore, though academically, the study of "communication between cultures" had its origin in the United States in the sixties of the twentieth century, it can be said that Confucius is the forerunner in studying and teaching cross-cultural communication, and today's "cultural communication" appeares in an embryonic form in The Analects.
