| Abstract: | Beginning with the detailed analysis of the findings obtained from the interviews done by 40 students in two universities,and combining with the basic theories of vocabulary acquisition, the author believes guessing words meanings from context is an effective vocabulary learning strategy,and to whom this strategy would achieve the best result gives some suggestions on vocabulary teaching. |
