摘    要:从对学生利用上下文猜测词义情况的采访入手,结合词汇习得的基本理论,探讨了利用上下文猜测词义这一策略是否对学生的词汇习得有利及对什么样的学生有利的问题.

Abstract:Beginning with the detailed analysis of the findings obtained from the interviews done by 40 students in two universities,and combining with the basic theories of vocabulary acquisition, the author believes guessing words meanings from context is an effective vocabulary learning strategy,and to whom this strategy would achieve the best result gives some suggestions on vocabulary teaching.
