| 摘 要： | 幽默是一种言语的艺术 ,它的产生一方面离不开语言本身的内在规律 ,另一方面也在很大程度上有赖于语言在语境中的使用情况。而语用学的任务就是研究把特定的话语放在特定的语境中使用所产生的交际功能。根据语用学的原理 ,运用格赖斯的会话合作原则、会话含义、指示语、前提及奥斯丁的言语行为理论能制造出强烈的幽默效果。

| Abstract: | Humour,as a kind of utterence art is based not only on the linguistic internal rules but also on the use of speech in a special context which is the object of pragmatic study.This essay explores English humour from the angle of pragmatics.It provides a lot of examples to show how to trigger humourous effects by applying pragmatic rules in discourse and composition,among which Grice's co-operative principle,conversational implicature,the vagueness of deixis,witty presuppositions and Austin's theory of speech acts are dealt with in detail. |
