左宗棠发展西北少数民族地区的教育思想和实践

左宗棠在经略西北期间,在发展西北少数民族地区教育方面作了积极的实践和尝试。他广开义学,普及教育,增设书院,刊发书籍,陕甘分闱,拓展士路,推广汉族先进文化,推行洋务教育,发展少数民族地区文化教育和经济,维护民族团结和边疆安全。他的许多宝贵经验对我们今天的西部大开发仍具有启示作用。

Zuo Zong tang's Idea and Practice on Minority Nationality Education of Northest Area

While administrating the northest area, Zuo Zong tang had a lot of postitive practice and attempts in different aspects, such as encouraging free school ,making education universal, setting up new academy of classical learning, publishing books, enrolling students respectively between Shanxi Province and Gansu Province, thinking out many ways for scholars to develop , popularizing Han nationality's developed culture, carrying out foreing education , developing regional education and economy of minority nationality, upholding national unity and border area's safty. Much of his valuable experience still has positive enlightment to our today' exploitation of the west regions.
