马克思历史进步观的实质

西方某些学者将马克思的进步观念与线性进步观念相混淆,坚持认为马克思主义理论严重依赖于单线性的历史进步观。事实上,马克思本人从来没有把人类历史看作是单向的、直线性的发展过程。马克思的资本主义批判理论、＂现实的人＂的理论以及＂东方社会＂的理论,将人类历史发展的一般规律与具体模式辩证的统一起来,描述出人类历史复杂的进步过程,从总体上否定了线性历史进步观所指认的历史朝着既定目标前进的单线性的、同质性的发展过程。
