试论宋恕反汉后正统儒学的思想

摘    要:19世纪末,宋恕通过借鉴西方议院民主的政治思想,和挖掘、阐发传统儒学中民主性和经世性的思想要素,对汉后正统儒学予以全面地批判,将其概括为“阳儒阴法之学”。这在近代政治思想史上是颇具特色的。同时宋恕反汉后正统儒学的思想,也意味着儒学近代化变迁的一种思想尝试,即儒学为了适应晚清政治变革的需要,在西方民主政治影响下的自我调整与自我更新。

Abstract:At the end of the 19th century Song Shu made a thorough criticism of post-Han orthodox Confucianism by borrowing the idea of parliamentary democracy from the West, and expounding democratic and pragmat ic elements in traditional Confucianism. What he did is significant if seen agai nst the background of early modern Chinese political thought. It represents an attempt at the modernization of Confucianism, that is, the self-adjustment and self-re vitalization of Confucianism in order to meet the needs of the late Qing politi cal reforms under the influence of Western democracy.
