| 摘 要： | 中国人非常重视面子及面子功夫,其中所包含的复杂含义绝不是西方人所能理解的.要想保全面子,最好的办法就是使用礼貌语言.那么,对比中西礼貌原则、面子概念和言语策略,可以提高人们社会文化和社会语言差异的敏感性,以减少由面子引起的文化冲突.

| Abstract: | Chinese people pay more attention to face and facework.The complex meanings "face" contains in Chinese are far beyond the western people's understanding.The best way to save face is to use politeness language.The writer stresses the effect of the Confucian"ethics" on Chinese face.By the comparison of politeness principles of the definition and the language strategy between Chinese and western face,this paper is to improve people's sensitivity of cultural and linguistic differences so as to decrease the conflicts caused by face. |
