“商—周考古界标”平议

考古学上的先周期和西周初期这两个陶器群所代表的年代,在武王克商前后是交错 重叠的。徐良高说武王克商后丰镐地区商文化因素突增不符合实际。因此,把97SCMT1西周初 期地层叠压先周期灰坑的地层关系称为“商—周考古界标”是不科学的。碳十四测年方面的专 家,听信“商—周考古界标”的错误主张而获得的克商年代范围,可信度受到影响。夏商周断代 工程把由此获得的克商年代范围作为推定武王克商年的出发点,是很大的失误。

On the Boundary Between Shang and Zhou Dynasties

In archaeology, the two periods which were respectively represented by the pottery of Pre zhou dynasty and Beginning of the Zhou dynasty were overlapped around the date when the King Wu of Zhou dynasty conquered the Shang Dynasty. It is not true that there was a dramatic increase of Shang cultural elements in Feng and Hao district after King Wu's conquest, as Mr.Xu Lianggao said, and therefore it is not scientific to call the stratigraphic sequence found in 97SCMT1, in which the pit of Pre Zhou was overlapped by the level of the beginning of the Zhou, as the boundary mark between the Shang and the Zhou Dynasties. By the influence of this incorrect proposition, the extent of date when the King Wu of the Zhou dynasty conquered the Shang Dynasty was proposed by the experts in radio carbon, so the date was not convincing totally. It is a big fault that the Xia Shang Zhou Chronological Project advanced the exact year for the King Wu of the Zhou Dynasty conquering the Shang Dynasty based on this extent of the date.
