摘    要:SINCE Buddhism was brought to China from India in A.D. 67, it has exerted a great influence on China's traditional culture. Early in the Three Kingdoms period (A.D.220-265), Jianye (now Nanjing), was the capital of the Wu kingdom. It was located in the south of the lower reaches of the Changjiang River, and became the center for Buddhist activities in the south.
