| Abstract: | Polotin supported KMT and suppressed CPC when the two parties strived for the leadership of the united front during the first Kuomintang-Communist cooperation. He helped KMT to build its army but stopped CPC from developing its own independent armed forces. Polotin's smistake proved to be an important cause for the failure of the Great Revolution. |
