科布过程教育思想与实践

摘    要:在怀特海过程哲学的视域中,教育就是充满生命与活力的、不断生成的过程.科布认为,过程教育是向现实挑战的教育.要转换思维方式,用内在联系的、发展的、生成的、动态的观点看待教育.他倡导浪漫教育、创造教育、整合教育、博雅教育和多元教育共生.较突出的是整合理念、学生中心理念和现代大学改革新理念.过程教育理念正在一些学校的教育实践中探索.过程教育理念对中国教育改革也有启发意义.

Abstract:In A.N.Whitehead's process philosophy,education means process of life and vigor,and constant process of change.J.B.Cobb,Jr.points out that process education challenges the realities and that we should change our thinking mode,treating education from a internally related,developing,becoming,and dynamic perspective.He advocates romantic education,innovative education,integrated education,liberal arts education,and diverse education.More prominent are his theories of integrated ideas,student-oriented education,and new theories on the reform of higher education.His process education theory is being explored and practiced in some universities and may also shed light on China's educational reform.
