| Abstract: | The idiomatic phrases,an important part of vocabulary,is the fixed phrases or short sentences derived from daily life.It often has a strong cultural characteristics.Due to historical,geographical,religious beliefs,customs and other differences,Chinese and English idioms also carry information on different cultures.In this paper,issues will be discussed on how does this come into existence and how to translate the idiomatic phrases accurately. |
