国家与民族认同是民族学、人类学研究的一个核心概念,也是当代民族国家背景下重要的政治事务。考察历史的知识谱系,民族国家无论是从概念演变、价值形态来看,还是从国家体制来说,都是西方赠给世界的一个礼物。当民族国家成为国际政治舞台上通用的政治单位时,它便成了国际关系中的政治实体和所属成员的认同归属。中国是一个多民族国家,＂中华民族多元一体＂既符合我国的历史实情,也是世界公认的国家形制的政治基础。国家的政治认同是认同构造中最核心的价值;在认同层次中,国家的政治认同是第一位的,民族的文化认同是从属性的,这不可讨论,亦不可讨价。

Between the National and Ethnic Identity

National and ethnic identity is a core concept of ethnology,anthropology.It is also important political affair under the context of the contemporary nation-states.From the perspective of historical knowledge pedigree,nation states are petty gifts offered to the world by the Western countries either in terms of concept evolutions,values or state systems.When nation state became general political unit,it was recognized by political entity and its members as an affiliated member in international relations.China is a multi-ethnic country.＂Chinese nation of various ethnics＂ is not only in line with the historic realities,but is also recognized by the world as political basis of national system.Therefore,national political identity is the core value of identity structure.In identity structure,national political identity is the first and foremost.Ethnic culture identity is subordinate.This is beyond discussing and arguing.
