| 摘 要： | 以韩礼德和哈桑的主位推进理论为指导,讨论在翻译实践中如何运用朱永生、严世清(2001)总结的四种基本的主位推进模式,通过在结构层次上对主位推进模式的保留与转换来达到功能意义上的对等。文章提出在翻译实践中,要使译文既忠实于原文,又能达到交流的目的,不仅需要根据主位推进模式有效地理解原文,更需要根据语义和语言习惯,相应地保留或转换主位推进模式。

| Abstract: | In the light of thematic progression theory posed by Halliday and Hasan,based on the four basic patterns of thematic progression concluded by Zhu Yongsheng and Yan Shiqing,this paper attempts to discuss the translation strategies in keeping or shifting the patterns of thematic progression in the original discourse.In translation practice,the translated discourse is bound to be faithful to the original while accomplishing the purpose of communicating.Therefore,the translator needs not only to understand the original discourse effectively,but to keep or shift the original patterns of thematic progression accordingly on the basis of the understanding of the semantic and language habits. |
