交际法与英语教学探讨

英语教学的出发点及目的是使学生获得英语交际能力。Hymes认为能力包括两个方面：一是知识，二是使用。人的语言能力是他的交际能力，交际能力并不表现在他对语言形式掌握得多好，而在于他使用语言参加社会活动的能力有多强。因此，我们在课堂教学中就应有意识地培养学生的交际能力。

Discussion About Communicational Method and English Teaching

The purpose of English teaching is to acquire English communicational ability. Hyms thinks the ability includes two sides: one is knowledge, the other is use. A man's ability on language is his communi- cational ability. The communicational ability doesn't show how well he grasps the language style but how skillfully he uses the language to attend the social activity, so in our class teaching we should on purpose train and develop the students' communicational abilities.
