出土资料中所见的“(?)”和“龙”

古■字本作蟠螭之形(盘蜷成圆形或C形),据此我们还可以在考古实物中,系联到许多商周乃至史前的■形纹饰图案和佩玉造型。■形玉一般是供主人生前佩带,直至伴随主人死后下葬。远古以来,华夏之龙那兽类的四肢,蟒蛇类蜿蜒曲折的长躯(一般作S形或弓形),鹰类的爪子等部位都与■的造型有明显不同。■的神性在于使人逢凶化吉,龙的神性主要在于兴云作雨。继1987年发现濮阳蚌塑龙之后,近年考古工作者还发现有史前的阜新查海龙形堆石图案、黄梅白湖焦墩的卵石摆塑龙等重要遗物,新发现的鲁山二龙岗地画土龙,乃是商汤时代招雨风习的沿承和发展,可谓历代修造土龙遗风的一则实例。

The recent new findings of dragon which were drawn in the ground in Erlonggang of Lushan developed from the tradition of praying for rain in the Shang Dynasty. It is a real example of the old tradition of building up dragon in the Shang Dynasty.
