农业社会的神圣叙事与宗教祭祀——读曹书杰的《后稷传说与后稷文化》

长期以来,学术界一直认为中国古代神话凌乱不成系统,是神话的历史化导致了神话的衰亡。《后稷传说与后稷文化》一书和近些年的本土神话个案研究表明,这一套用西方理论得出的结论,并不符合中国的历史事实。《后稷传说与后稷文化》对稷祀形成演变的梳理,不仅表明神灵的神圣叙事总是伴随着神圣的宗教祭典,而且表明中国古代一直存在着一个有别于道教佛教的强大的政治宗教体系和鲜活的民间信仰系统。《后稷传说与后稷文化》对后稷的传说形态、文化形态及其学术层面的演变、发展过程等,第一次做了比较全面、完整的梳理辨析,也是第一次对稷祀文化做了比较深入系统的研究考察,是对后稷起源传说研究的学术大总结,为我们提供了学术史上的详细资料,为上古神话传说的研究提供了一个较为成功的范例。

Holy Narrative and Religious Fete of Agricultural Society——Reading Cao Shu-jie's Hou Ji's Legend and Hou Ji's Culture

Chinese ancient mythology has long been treated as a chaos system,because its historical transformation led to its death.Hou Ji's Legend and Hou Ji's Culture and native mythologies in recent years all demonstrate that western theory cannot apply to our historical facts.The changes of Jisi in the book display not only holy narrative always came from religious fiesta,but also folk faith existed for a long time that was different from authoritative political and religious system.In forms of legend,cultural modality and its academic evolution,it is the first time that the book showed a comparatively sound analysis and undertook a systematic survey of Jisi's culture.It as an overall collection of Hou Ji's legend and its study achievement provides us details of academic history of this field as well as a successful example serving for studying mythologies of ancient times.
