| 摘 要： | 英汉两种语言均有大量的委婉语。它们既有相同之点,但更有不同之处。委婉语作为语言客观存在的一部分,折射出社会文化现象的一个侧面,反映出民族心理的历史沉淀和深层构建。研究英汉委婉语,对研究修辞学、跨文化交际和外语教学等都有启发意义。

| Abstract: | A lot of euphemisms live in both English and Chinese.Similarities and differences coexist.As a part of language which exists objectively,euphemism,the reflection of the social culture,reflects the historical precipitation and the deep structure of the national psychology.The study of English euphemisms and Chinese euphemism plays an enlightening role in the research of rhetoric,intercultural communication and foreign language teaching. |
