略论明代水利撰述的特点

明成祖迁都北京之后,天下财赋仰给于江南,而江南财赋全资水利,因此水利之于明王朝有着特殊的重要性和现实性.在这种因素的影响下,明代水利撰述呈现出突出发展的态势.通过研究,笔者发现,明代水利撰述具有数量多、注重实用、批判性强等特点.而这些特点的出现又和明代社会现实紧密相连.

A Brief Analysis of the Characteristics of the Works on Irrigation in Ming Dynasty

After Zhu Di, the third emperor of Ming dynasty, moved the capital to Beijing, the whole country depended on the wealth and taxes of the south of the Changjiang River which chiefly relied on irrigation. So irrigation showed its practical significance to Ming dynasty. Consequently, the works on irrigation in Ming dynasty had a tendency of stricking development. In this paper, the writers propose that the works on irrigation in Ming dynasty have the characteristics of greatness in number, playing close attention to practicality and strong criticism. All these features are closely related with the social realities of Ming dynasty.
