理工类高校“大学英语”课程设置探析

理工类高校“大学英语”课程设置存在与生源特征不相适应、与课程的教学目标相脱节、难以贯彻因材施教的原则等问题。课程改革所要遵循的原则包括实用性原则、分类指导与分级教学原则、专业特色原则、重视网络教育原则；课程模块的设置应包括语言学习策略、共核英语、应用技能、文化素养、专业英语等五大模块。

In Science and engineering colleges and universities, the problems that the curriculum design of＂College English＂ doesn＇t fit the characteristics of students and the teaching goals, which is difficult to implement the principle ofabilities and so on exist. The curriculum reform needs to follow the principles： the principle of practicability, the classification of instruction and grades teaching principle, the principle of specialized characteristic and the principle of emphasis on the network education. Curriculum module settings should include five big modules as language learning strategies, core English, the application of skills, culture promotion, professional English.
