试论中国城市环境的文化品位提升

在中国城市化进程中存在着忽视城市文化建设的倾向。其症结在于小农文化意识的影响、市民文化的缺乏、计划经济和短缺经济的制约及城市政府和官员的城市意识不强等。建设高度的城市文化环境 ,提升城市文化品位应当作为现代城市建设的目的本身和重要内容 ;应当作为提高城市建设的经济效益、实现城市可持续发展的重要途径 ;应当以张扬人本意识、人文精神和市民文化为主线 ;应当以提高市民素质、转变市民观念、振奋市民精神为主题 ;应当把展现优秀民族文化与借鉴外来进步文化结合起来。
