论戊戌变法时期康有为会通中西的贡献

本文以为,基于对近代西方侵略和中国民族危机的清醒认识,戊戌变法时期康有为一方面在现实中赏西批中,即对近代西方的学术和制度表示高度赞赏,批判现实中国的社会政治弊端;然而,在另一方面,康氏还在理想中崇古抑西,即高扬中国古代圣人的"太平大同"社会政治理想,指出近代西方社会政治制度的局限.在人性一律(一致)论的基础上,康有为主张,人类的基本价值是相通的,可以"暗合".康有为的思想有力地推进了近代的中西会通工作,并使其有关社会政治改革的思想具有巨大的原创性,使他成为中国近代化的重要先驱者.

Kang Youwei''''s Contributions to Communication between China and West during the Reform Movement of 1898

Based on his clear understanding of the situation of modern China marked by Western invasion and national crisis, Kang Youwei, on the one hand, admired the modern Western learning and its rules and criticized the Chinese sociopolitical defects; on the other, he worshipped the Great Harmony put forward by sages of ancient China and pointed out the limitations of the Western social system in modern times. On the basis of human concordance, Kang advocated that men share some basic values. Kang's thoughts, unprecedented in the discussion of sociopolitical reforms, greatly boosted the communication between China and the West, and made him an important pioneer in modern China history.
