以场域观消解知识分子公共性与自利性的对立

现代知识分子是自利性的还是依然具有公共性，一直以来争论频频。由此导致了知识分子社会角色理论上的混乱和实践中的迷茫。通过梳理知识分子自利性与公共性互相对立的诸种观点，认为布迪厄的场域理论能够消解这种二元对立：自利的现代知识分子主要栖身于学术场域中寻求着自身的利益，但这并不阻碍他们投身公共领域的政治场域，赢取政治和符号利益，如此就使知识分子在自利的基础上，由自利走向公共，实现多重场域里多元角色扮演中的公共性和自利性的统一，这对知识分子在理论与实践中的意义都极其重大。
