伊达拉里亚人统治罗马考

对于罗马王政时代后三王时期,即所谓塔克文王朝统治时期的史实考证,学界争论颇多。经研究可知罗马第六王图里乌斯并非出身塔克文尼城的塔克文家族。他原为奴隶之子(或战俘之子),后与其母邦沃耳基的扩张势力相联合,以暴力推翻了塔克文家族在罗马的统治,建立了沃耳基人的政权,图里乌斯代表的正是沃耳基人在罗马的统治。不仅如此,伊达拉里亚的卡瑞城也曾与塔克文尼城争夺过罗马的统治权;克鲁西城甚至也曾占领罗马并恢复了伊达拉里亚人的统治。而公元前510年塔克文家族被驱逐出罗马,也并不意味着伊达拉里亚人在罗马统治的彻底结束。事实上,伊达拉里亚人对罗马的统治一直持续到约公元前475年。

Rome under Etruscan Rule

There are many different views on the history of so-called Tarquinian Dynasty in regal Rome, among the last three kings. Servius Tullius, the sixth king of Rome, was not born of Tarquinian family from Etruscan city Tarquinii while as his name indicates, Servius Tullius, was a son of a slave woman ( or of a prisoner of war). Enhancing his power with the expansion troops of his hometown in Etruria, Vulci, he overthrew the reign of Tarquinian family in Rome and founded the rule of Vulci there, and became a representative of Vulci in Rome reign. At the same time, Etruscan city Caere once fought for the control of Rome with Tarquinii a fter Tarquinian family was driven out of Rome. Clusium, an Etruscan city, even resumed Etruscan power in Rome temporarily. It didn't mean the end of Etruscan power in Rome when the Tarquinian fammily was banished out of Rome in 510 BC., in fact, Etruscan control of Rome lasted till 475 BC.
