罗蒂的"后哲学文化"理论述评

罗蒂是西方哲学客观主义传统的掘墓人。他站在元哲学的高度以实用主义为武器对传统哲学进行了激烈的批判 ,粉碎了人心的“镜式”本质 ,打破了“心———身”问题的迷梦 ,摧毁了客观性的基础 ,宣扬“协同性”的原则。基于此的“后哲学文化”理论 ,就是要将传统哲学消解在文化之中。但是客观性与协同性是人类认识和描绘世界和自身的两个方面 ,罗蒂的厚此薄彼不免使自己陷入矛盾之中。而且其“后哲学文化”实质上就是对话。在世界政治、经济、文化格局日益单极化的今天 ,这种对话难脱“文化殖民主义”的干系

On Richard Rorty's "Post-philosophic Culture"Theory

Richard Rorty is a gravedigger of the objectivism tradition of the western philosophy.In the view of metaphilosophy and armed with pragmatism,he criticized the traditional philosophy fiercely,smashed the "mirror"nature of mind, broke the dream of "mind-body" problem,destroyed the foundation of "objectivity"and advocated the principle of "coordination".Underlying this principle, his "post-philosophic culture"aims at melting traditional philosophy into culture.But,objectivity and coordination are two aspects of which man recognizes and describes the world and themselves.Richard Rorty's favoring one more than another will put himself into controversy.More ever,his "post-philosophic culture"is actually discourse.Today, when the world politics,economy and culture are getting more and more unilateral,this sort of discourse gives the impression of "cultural colonization.
