语言变革:晚清戏曲改良运动的先导

摘    要:晚清戏曲改良是晚清社会、文化环境和中国传统戏曲自身发展变化的结果,时代的进步需要产生一种更能表现时代思潮的新的戏剧形式,但因为外来戏剧此时还没有真正在中国产生直接的冲击,因此,这场应时而生的戏曲改良运动只能在旧瓶里造新酒,提升戏曲的意义,扩大戏曲的题材,放宽曲律的限制,而其中尤以戏曲语言的变革最能代表这一改良运动的实绩和局限,最能说明中国传统戏曲向现代话剧过渡的复杂性、矛盾性。

Abstract:The drama reformation in late Qing Dynasty was the natural result of social and cultural environment and the development of Chinese traditional drama. The developing age needed a new drama form which could better express the new trend of thought. However,because the foreign dramas haven't directly influenced Chinese drama,this drama reformation was incomplete,just as containing new wine with old bottle,that means: promoting the meaning of traditional opera,ect. The reformation of language of traditional opera was especially representative of the real success and limitations of this reformation,and the complication and contradiction in the course of transition from Chinese traditional opera to modern drama.
