Analysis of the Grange Movement in the Late 19th Century in America

The Grange was a coalition of the farmers that fought monopolistic grain-transport in the late 19th century in America.With the rapid growth of economy and spectacular industryial changes,the agriculture was involed in the wave of modernization and industrialization.While the ruthless exploitation by the railroad monopolists aroused a series of radical agitations for the agricultural class.As the prologue to the farmer’s war against the monopolies,the Grange Movement successfully promoted the reform of the railraod and the agriculture in America.
