A Research on Promoting Urban and Rural Education Integration in Qingdao

Speeding up the development of rural education and narrowing the educational gap between urban and rural areas are the inevitable choice to achieve integrating development of economy and society between urban and rural areas.Qingdao persists in the balanced development of urban and rural education integration and regards it as the focus of education reform and development,which has promoted the rapid development of rural education.The period of the 12th Five-Year Program is the critical one for economic and social development in Qingdao,during which achieving a balanced development of urban and rural education is facing rare opportunities and severe challenges as well.Therefore,accelerating the urban and rural education integration and coordinating the balanced development of education are still the priority in education reform for Qingdao during this period.
