| Abstract: | A "new generation of women writers" refers to writers who were born in the 1960's and 1970's. Their writings began to be prominent in the 1990's and were concerned primarily with city life. These authors are notable for the unique personal expression in their writings. Critics of this generation of writers have had mixed responses. From the perspective of comparative literature, this paper endeavors to explain how these works came to be. |
