在全球化背景下 ,中国语境正呈现出多元文化形态。西方文化与文学理论特别是带有某些后现代特征的文化研究理论对我国文化理论界产生了巨大影响 ,并力图改变社会转型时期知识分子的话语功能。文化交流、科技进步和资讯的发达将使原来封闭的文化生存状态不复存在 ,代之而来的是不同文化间的冲撞和融通。面对全球化的机遇和挑战 ,我们更要保持民族文化身份 ,在平等的基础上展开不同文化之间的对话和交流。

The Import of Western Cultural and Literary Theories and the Changing Context in China

Against the background of globalization, there emerge multiple cultural identities in Chinese context. The Western cultural theories, especially the critical theory of Cultural Studies with some post modern features have their great influence in Chinese cultural and literary circle, and on the function of discourse for Chinese intellectuals in the period of transition. Further, cultural exchange, the progress of science and technology and telecommunication will remove the cultural closeness among nations and bring forward mutual understanding and exchange in different cultures. In the global era, the Chinese should preserve the cultural identity of their own when conducting on the basis of equality the trans cultural dialogue and communication.
