申论作为四论之一的信息科学

江泽民把代表２０世纪最重要的科学理论概括为“四论”是一个极有意义的新概括，信息论的深远意义在于：（１）在哲学上，信息论给科学世界图景作出重要的新刻画，凸显出独立的信息意识是信息文明的理论源头。（２）信息论对科学事业的发展产生了深远影响，逐步形成了自己的体系。（３）信息理论的发展是整个高新技术发展必不可少的理论源泉。（４）对于社会发展的影响，信息科学技术具有不同于其他学科的重要特点。

The Profound Meaning of Information theory

s: In this paper, information theory has been approached from four perspectives. Philosophically,information theory offers a new and scientific of the world, indicating that independent information conciousness is the theoretical fountainhead of information civilization.Scientifically,it puts forward the tasks of consturcting disciplinary system of information science and influences modern science at three levels. Technologically, it becomes an indispensable source of ideas for all the new hi technology development. Socially, to catch up with developed countries in the world, greater efforts should be made to develop our own information theory in the new century.
