| Abstract: | In the academic history of the 20th century,PU Jiang-qing was one of the exceptional knowledgeable scholars.He was engaged in studies of Chinese ancient civilization throughout his life but meanwhile he advocated studies of western civilization.Between the two he made the right choice,reviewing the studies of Chinese ancient civilization through western philosophy,aesthetics,and literary theories,which provides good reference for the development of the 20th century' literature. |
