The Reconciliation between Kangxi Empire and Zheng''s Government of Taiwan and Its Historical Teaching

In early Qing Dynasty, Zheng's Government of Taiwan had turned to be a separatist regime which acted as a counterweight to Kangxi Empire. In the early years of the reign of Kangxi, a vast, unprecedented, feudalist, multinational country came into being. The unifying of Taiwan and the mainland was inevitable in the development of history. Qing Government insisted on unifying by negotiation and was opposed to have a separatist regime. After the War of Penghu, Zhen's Government made a correct choice to realize unification. The reconciliation gives us enlightenment.
