“枯槁之士宿名”辩

在《庄子·杂篇·徐无鬼》中有一句很有意思的话，即“枯槁之士宿名”，这句话在初读时很容易被略过，但细细想来，此句之意又颇值得玩味。在历代《庄子》注本中，对这一句话的解释并不很完备，而尤其对“枯槁之士”四字竞无详细注解。而在陈鼓应先生的《庄子今注今译》中却直接解释成了“山林隐士留意声名”…，这样一来，本来作为一对相悖概念的隐士和声名就发生了关系，让人摸不着头脑。在通过对《庄子》书中涉及的“枯槁”“隐士”和“名声”这三个概念进行考察后，发现陈鼓应先生的这一解释并不恰当，并且在文章最后给出了一个旁证，进而确定出“枯槁之士”的真正含义是可与贾谊所言的“烈士徇名”互训的。

In the history of the ＂Zhuang zi＂ Note, this interpretation of the word is not very complete, especially for ＂ku gao zhi shi＂, there is actually no detailed explanation. However, in Mr. ChenGuying＇s ＂Zhuang zi jin zhu jin yi＂, it is explained as ＂forest hermit pay attention to reputation ＂. In this way, readers feel confused about the relationship between the original contray concepts ＂a hermit＂ and ＂reputation＂. Through focusing on these three concepts ＂ku gao＂, ＂a hermit＂ and ＂reputation＂, the paper finds Mr Chen Guying＇s explanation is not appropriate, and finally gives an example as the circumstantial evidence, then makes a conclusion that the true meaning of the ＂ku gao zhi shi＂ is similar to Jia Yi＇s ＂martyrs partiality name＂.
