曾巩及其散文述论

康宋八大家之一的曾巩的散文创作可分为五个时期来考察：（一）求学和求仕时期。多模拟前人之作，但慷概任气、纵横奔放已初露长于议论的特点；（二）耕读时期。逐渐从奔放粗率向雍容典雅转变，日趋蕴藉深厚；（三）初入仕途时期。此时散文布局谨严，说理透彻，行文纡曲，运笔柔婉，风格趋向稳定和成熟；（四）转宦七州时期。是为其散文创作又一丰收期，艺术上也达到纵笔自如、无意不达的地步；（五）京官生活时期。晚期他不多的创作中也体现出概括精炼、议论纵横、气势磅礴的特点。

COMMENTARY ON ZONG GONG AND HIS PROSE

The prose writing by Zong Gong, one of the 8 distinguished literary persons in Tang and Song Dynasty, can be studied according to 5 periods: (1) the period of schooling and trying to be an official. He mainly imitated his predecessors' works, but with heroic passion and an outburst of enthusiasm, first displaying his talent for arguement; (2)the period of studying hard. He gradually changed his enthusiasm into grace and elegance, trying to mean much in his writing; (3) early period of his official career. Now his essays are well-knit, thorough in reasoning, circuitous and gently in manner of writing, style tending to be stable and mature; (4)the period of shifting to be an official in 7 administrative divisions. He came into another bumper harvest in prose writing, handling his artistic skill smoothly and intentionally;(5) the period of being an official in Peking. He only wrote a few essays which are concise, free in commenting, and powerful.
