Exploring a new approach in studies of classical literature--A speech at the International Forum on Traditional Literature and Modernism

By studying the past and existing theoretical achievements and the development trend in science in the 20th century, this article puts forward a new approach for ancient literature studies. It involves three points: broadening social-culture research of classical literature, inheriting and developing the tradition of combining literature and history, exploring history-culture research method of classical literature; intensifying the world wide communication in classical literature studies and advocating an international academic vision; trying to look for more new research materials.
