西北少数民族地区和谐社会构建问题与对策思考

构建社会主义和谐社会是从中国特色社会主义事业总体布局和全面建设小康社会全局出发提出的重大战略任务。西北作为多民族聚居区，区域发展不平衡性，文化教育事业较落后，民族和宗教相互影响等问题，影响着社会和谐发展。文章提出应从落实科学发展观，因地制宜地制定适合本地区经济社会的发展战略和具体策略；加强民族团结，维护社会稳定和国家统一；积极构建和谐社区等方面着力推进西北民族地区和谐社会构建。

Reflections on the Problems of and Solutions to the Harmonious Society Construction in Northwest Ethnic Area

In the light of the whole arrangement of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics and in accordance with the whole situation of building a well-off society in all respects, the construction of a socialist harmonious society is viewed as a very im- portant strategy. As an area inhabited by multi-ethnic groups, northwest China is facing the situation of increasing imbalanced devel- opment among regions, the underdeveloped cultural and educational situation, and the entangled ethnic and religious problems, which all hinder the development of a harmonious society. Therefore, with the aim to strengthen the ethnic solidarity, maintain the social stability, the reunification of the country and active construction of harmonious communities, this paper intends to put forward that the scientific outlook on development should be taken, flexible strategies and specific solutions which are appropriate for the e- conomic and social development of this area should be applied thoroughly to enhance the construction of a harmonious society in northwest area.
