先秦诸子的社会语言学思想

乱世先秦催生了中国古代璀璨的思想和文化,受各自的政治立场的影响,诸子百家纷纷著书立说,形成了各具特色的语言观。在他们眼中,语言代码不仅仅表示单纯的符号意义,而是蕴含着复杂的社会政治因素以及深刻的思想文化意义。为此,孔子、墨子、尹文子和荀子等试图通过探讨语言与社会的关系、语言的社会功能以及语言的规范来揭示语言的本质。其实质是在社会秩序混乱的情况之下,借助语言对社会关系进行重建或重构,从而保证社会秩序的规范有序。

Social Linguistic Thoughts of Pre-Qin Philosophers

Chinese ancient splendid thoughts and cultures were created during troubled pre-Qin period.Hundreds of thinkers and philosophers wrote books to show their distinctive linguistic ideas under the influence of their political standpoint.In their opinion,language code not only expresses the significance of sign but also embeds the complicated social political factors and deep meaning of thought and culture.Thus,Confucius,Mo,Yinwen Zi and Xun Zi attempted to discover the nature of language through discussing the relationship between language and society,social function of language and the rule of language to rebuild and restructure the social relationships based on language in disordered society so as to ensure the order of social rules.
