| 摘 要： | 南岳，古名祝融峰，其得名当与祝融部落南迁有关；衡山，《南岳志》云：“以其星宿当翼、轸，度应玑衡，故为名。”南岳，为四岳、五岳之一，得名当在春秋之际。南岳，历属衡山县。民国之后归属多变。共和国成立后政区随衡山归属而累改，终置南岳区，属衡阳市。

| Abstract: | Nanyue, named Zhu Rongfeng in ancient times, was associated with the south migration of the Zhurong tribe.It might get this name in the Spring and Autumn Period, and is one of the Five Sacred Mountains in China.Nanyue originally belonged to Hengshan County, but its affiliation was changeable after the Republic of China. Since the establishment of the PRC,its political zone also has changed many times with the Hengshan County, and finally the Nanyue District was set up, which belongs to Hengyang city. |
