摘    要:提出一种采用单个皮秒(ps)光源分路后,由具有增益的半导体激光放大器作为南速调制开关的光学时分复用(OTDM)系统方案,并进行了两个信过的2Gbit/s 光学时分复用发射系统模拟实验.

Abstract:A novel optical time-division multiplexing(OTDM)system is proposed in which only one picosecond semiconductor laser diode is used as optical source and semiconductor laser amplifiers are used as high speed modulators with built-in gain.The experi- mental results of a 2 Gbit/s optical time-division multiplexing by two channels using semi- travelling-wave semiconductor laser amplifiers as optical switches are given.
