后公众时代中新城市主义城市建设思想的困境

工业生产的巨大发展带来了公众社会结构的变化,个体通过工业生产来满足对文化的需求,不需要直接参与创造文化。这个时代,文化成为公众消费品和工业产品,这正是现代城市社区文化衰落、社区认同危机的原因。在应对这一问题过程中,新城市主义的规划理念面临着巨大困境。本文的分析认为在社区开发中,开发者必须跳出由工业生产社区文化的模式,鼓励居民直接参与才能促进城市社会进一步发展。

Being in a Predicament of Neo-Urbanism in Post-public Era

The great development of industry leads to the structural transformation of the society.Without taking part in the activities of creating culture,individuals meet their cultural need through industrial production.The characteristics of the times is that culture has become the public consumer goods and industrial products,which is the key reason of the decline of the community and the consensus crisis of the community.The city-plan idea of the neo-urbanism is in predicament in dealing with this problem.The paper argues that in the process of a new community,developers should change from the resident-oriented mode with the direct participation of the residents to industrial production mode so as to promote further development of the society.
