| Abstract: | vocabulary plays an important part in college English teaching. However, since there are some wrong doings in traditional vocabulary teaching, reforms are necessary. The reasons why vocabulary teaching is time-consuming but inefficient should be found out to solve the problems effectively. Teachers should make use of the latest knowledge and methods and avoid teaching errors. Good coordination of both teachers and students will ensure a best result in the vocabulary teaching. |
