| Abstract: | The paper mainly concerns how schema theory is applied in the process of English reading comprehension and puts forward certain personal views on English reading teaching. English teachers should encourage student s to read widely, and enrich their knowledge in English culture to improve their reading comprehension; help them to construct new schema and strengthen the learning of text organization and tactics to cultivate their ability in forecasting. |
