日语文字体系的宽容性与日本的国际化

日语文字与其他语言的单一文字相比,最显著的特点就是其多样性。外来语在日语词汇中所占比重之大、来源之广在世界上颇为罕见。这表明多样化的日语文字体系在借用外来语方面具有极大的宽容性。外来语数量的多寡,与一个民族国际化的程度密切相关。尽管借用外来语的能力同时涉及文字等语言层面和文化等非语言层面两方面的因素,但是就语言层面而言,日本之所以能够顺利地踏上汉化和欧美化的道路,沿着国际化道路不断向前迈进,以至形成今天多元文化共生的局面,主要归功于日语所特有的、可兼收并蓄且适应跨文化交际需要的多样而宽容的文字体系。
