成人学习英语由于其记忆力、模仿力、工学矛盾、个体水平差异及心理上等诸多因素的限制,从听、说、读、写四个方面同步提高有着一定的难度。所以在教学中如果尝试着运用一种新的教学组合模式——以阅读理解为主线,通过阅读能力的提高带动听、说、写的各项技能,那么就可以取得较好的教学效果。

A Discussion on Reading Oriented Teaching Method in Adult English Learning

It is,to a certain extent,very difficult for adults to improve their listening,speaking,reading and writing simultaneously because of their poor memory and imitation,the contradiction between work and study,the differences in individuals and their psychological obstacles. The author of this article has been trying out a new teaching mode in English teaching,in which reading acts as a main thread. Reading ability brings about the improvement in such skills as listening,speaking and writing.
