Abstract:Based on Ausubel' s learning motivation theory, taking the three variables, i.e. cognitive drive, ego enhancement drive and affiliation drive as the measuring indexes of learning motivation, the learning motivation questionnaire for primary and middle school students was worked out. Three subscales in the questionnaire i.e. subscale for cognitive drive, for ego enhancement and for affiliation drive are included. The results show that the questionnaire is of good reliability and validity. It can be used as an effective tool to measure the primary and middle school students' learning motivation accurately and objectively so as to fully understand the level and the characteristics of their learning motivation.
