Overseas Trade of Coastal Cities and Towns in East Zhejiang During the Song Dynasty and Its Influence

During the Song Dynasty,Mingzhou,Wenzhou and Taizhou in East Zhejinag Province are important port cities whose overseas trade is well developed.They had frequent trade communication with Korean,Japan and the countries in Southeast and West Asia.The prosperity of the overseas trade greatly promoted the development of commodity production and trade economy in coastal cities and towns and caused the change of social economic structure,which made a great influence on the social life of these cities and towns.
