| 摘 要： | 元话语的主要功能是组织话语,吸引听话者注意力和点明说话者意图.文章通过实证研究,探索元话语理论在英语听力教学中的应用,力图证明元话语理论能有效地提高学生的英语听力水平,有助于学生的英语听力理解.

| Abstract: | The main functions of meta-discourse are organizing discourses,attracting the listener's attention and indicating the speaker's intention.Meta-discourse's functions show that it is very helpful in listening comprehension.This essay tries to explore the application of meta-discourse to English listening teaching by an experiment.The results of the experiment prove that meta-discourse-based-listening-teaching can effectively improve students' listening proficiency,which is helpful to the students' listening comprehension. |
