| 摘 要： | 由于文化传统的差异 ,不同民族对颜色的理解往往不同。本文从文化内涵的角度详尽分析了英汉两种民族在使用颜色词方面的异同以及颜色与政治、经济、宗教、风俗习惯等方面的联系 ;并指出在英汉翻译实践中 ,因色彩翻译有它本身特殊的性质和难度 ,需要译者细心揣摩 ,才能将原语中颜色词所蕴涵的文化内涵忠实地呈现在译语读者面前
