| Abstract: | At the turn of the century, the Communist Party of Japan holds its 22nd national congress and amends its 42 - year constitution comprehensively. The congress is of great significance in the CPJ's history and clarifies the Party's policies and goals in the new century. The article expounds on the background and main content of the newly - amended constitution, as well as the author's views on it. |
